Easybar’s Cocktail Service Station can pour a single shot or a cocktail of up to five ingredients, including liquors, juices, sodas and mixers. The ingredients are dispensed simultaneously in accurate portions, which saves time and ensures consistent cocktails. This system takes the server through a step by step process to build cocktails beginning with designating the proper glass and ending with the appropriate garnish. By eliminating the guesswork, it is easy for any server to mix and serve a drink. Bartenders are able to focus on serving customers seated at the bar, and servers do not have to wait for their drinks to be made. Additionally, the Cocktail Service Station acts as a cost savings device in service bar areas since less bartending shifts are required.
Our client is a large casino operation that had many outlets that needed to be serviced during non-peak alcohol sale times. They contacted us after seeing our Cocktail Service Station in operation at the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) Show. The challenge was to maintain accountability and profitability from servers, without incurring the added expense of bartenders during these slow times. They needed a cocktail-liquor system that was accountable, could control theft, maintain the integrity of cocktails, and integrate into current Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Shortly after our client expressed interest, we sent one of our professionals to explain how our system would solve their problem minimizing cost, while keeping all of their bars accountable 24/7. It was determined that we would install two Cocktail Service Stations as a solution. We were able to implement our systems soon thereafter, and provided training for staff on how to use the towers effectively. Within six months of installation, our client noticed a significant changes.
Within the first year of implementation, our client was able to cut labor and inventory costs and save over $131,000. In addition to saving money in the first year, our client also experienced a drop in their pour costs that added profit to their bottom line. Ultimately, within one year of installation, their pour costs dropped by 6% and they gained a return over 400%.
